#1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
This mother nature is not just a home for the glorious endangered mountain gorillas but also offers fabulous biking trials that are resumed from the park headquarters at Buhoma, entails crossing ivy river via the bridge and until Nkuringo Nteke Village. The 13 km trail happens in 4-7 hours and bikers enjoy views of exciting forest dwellers like bushbucks, red tailed monkeys, birds while muscling down the bikes.
#2: Karamoja.
Because cycling over a flat terrain would be easy-peasy, Karamoja bike trails provide unique insights about the rich Karamoja culture and be up close with their traditional food, dances, fascinating cultural games and also follow their cattle paths.
#3: Lake Mburo National Park.
This trail is ideal for cycling, rendering to the fact that it doesn’t inhabit dangerous lions and elephants. Bikers could find their way around the park’s prominent birding spots like Miriti and Walukiri where various bird species like brown parrots, emeralds, fin-foot and the red-faced barbet, which is only found in this park. Normally, the trail takes one hour while enjoying views of other wildlife like zebras, kobs, impalas, topis, giraffes, buffaloes, among others.
#4: Mountain Elgon.
The cycling trails are undertaken in Kapchorwa District, starting from Sipi trading Centre, until the Chema hills. While on this journey, admire sights of the idyllic Sipi falls, dry areas of Karamoja and the grand Mountain Elgon.
#5: Ssese Island biking trails.
Adventure seekers can consider jumping on a bike to go up and down hills while on a safari to Ssese Island while enjoying the chilly atmosphere of the place and sights of palms, exotic plants, flowers at the beach and other places like resort hotels.
